Our Localization Workflow
We use Alchemy CATALYST Translator/Pro Edition as a CAT tool for our localization projects. We chose it because Alchemy CATALYST supports a wide variety of file types and platforms.
First we create the project and start the translation in String View. When a file was completed, we check the dialog box controls in Visual View and resize the concrete dialog box when the translated text is longer than the available space. It is an important step to check out the correctness of the provided translation and in Visual View Alchemy CATALYST generates the context of the target application.
